It is reported that the chief inspector of the Mirzaabad district department of the Cadastre Agency gained the trust of a citizen born in 1975 and, through familiar officials, requested 1,500 US dollars in exchange for formalizing the cadastral documents for his residential home and preparing the documents ahead of schedule.
During a rapid operation conducted in cooperation with employees of the State Security Service and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes, he was caught red-handed with material evidence while receiving 1,000 US dollars and 6 million 50 thousand soums.
Regarding this incident, a criminal case has been initiated against him under Article 168, Part 3, subsection "v", and Articles 28 and 211, Part 1 of the Criminal Code, and detention as a preventive measure has been applied. Investigative actions are currently being carried out.
