In connection with the casualties among the peaceful population as a result of recent events, we expressed condolences and conveyed our sympathy to the affected families,— writes Saidov.
He also exchanged views with Araghchi regarding the conflict between Iran and the USA.
With my colleague, we discussed the situation in the region, noting that any further escalation could lead to serious humanitarian and security consequences,— added the head of the MFA.
Furthermore, Bakhtiyor Saidov also touched upon Uzbekistan's position regarding the terrible events taking place in the world.
We once again confirmed our consistent position that all disagreements and conflicts must be resolved only by peaceful means—through dialogue and diplomacy,— he added.
