According to the Issyk-Kul Regional Department of Internal Affairs, in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, after it was determined that a 17-year-old girl was 16 weeks pregnant, her mother took this situation very hard.
According to reports, that evening the woman left her house, doused herself with gasoline, and set herself on fire. She was taken to the hospital, but died as a result of the severe burns she sustained.
A forensic examination has now been appointed regarding the incident, and investigative actions are being carried out by law enforcement agencies.
