According to the announcement by the Khududgaz Karakalpakstan, a sharp drop in air temperature in Karakalpakstan has caused a drop in pressure in the main gas pipelines. In this regard, temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operation of automobile gas filling compressor stations.

It is reported that gas supply is primarily directed to households and social sector facilities. According to officials, the situation is expected to stabilize within 3–4 days, and with the restoration of gas pressure, the operation of the stations is anticipated to be gradually resumed.

Furthermore, according to the "Uzgidromet" forecast, in the coming days, the air temperature in the region may drop to -7 degrees at night.
