A Uzbekistan citizen who saved a child in St. Petersburg was awarded the "Courage" medal.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev by his order awarded a state award to Khayrullo Ibadullayev, who caught a falling child in Saint Petersburg.

A seven-year-old child in St. Petersburg climbed onto the seventh-floor cornice of an apartment building on Petrozavodskaya Street, fell, and was left hanging. At that moment, an Uzbekistani citizen, Khairullo Ibadullaev, who was working nearby, caught the child in the air, softening the impact and thereby saving his life.

It is reported that he held the child close, took him into the building entrance, and provided assistance until an ambulance arrived. The child survived, is currently under medical supervision, and his condition is assessed as stable. Khairullo Ibadullaev also sustained minor bodily injuries.

For this act of bravery, by order of the President of Uzbekistan, Khairullo Ibadullaev was awarded the "Courage" medal. It is noted that in an emergency situation, risking his own life and health, he demonstrated high valor, heroism, and self-sacrifice.
