A fire broke out on February 21 at a construction market in the Uchtepa district of Tashkent city. The Ministry of Emergency Situations provided information about the situation.
It is reported that at 05:09, a report was received about the burning of door and frame products in the territory of the "Izza" construction market located on Quvonch 2nd street in the district.
According to the information, rescue crews arrived at the scene at 05:17, surrounded the fire by 05:38, and completely extinguished it by 06:00. There were no reports of casualties as a result of the incident.
The cause of the fire and the amount of material damage caused are currently being determined, and investigative work is underway.
To supervise the fire extinguishing process, the Minister of Emergency Situations, Aziz Ikromov, arrived at the scene and took personal control of the situation.
