It became known that Iqbol Saliev, who has been presenting himself as a "specialist" practicing folk medicine on social networks, does not possess the license required by law to carry out this activity.
It is reported that although Saliev possesses a certificate of membership in the Folk Medicine Association of Uzbekistan, this document does not grant the right to provide medical services. According to current legislation, engaging in medical activities using folk medicine methods is only possible on the basis of a license issued by the Ministry of Health.
Furthermore, providing such services requires the completion of special training courses in human anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, diagnostics, and first aid.
According to information from the Ministry of Health, Iqbol Saliev does not possess a license to provide medical services using folk medicine methods. The Folk Medicine Association is not considered an authorized body to issue licenses for this activity.
For information: By the decision of the Kokand City Court on Criminal Cases dated December 17, 2025, Saliev Iqbol Pulatovich was sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention under Part 3 of Article 59-5 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility for violating legislation on folk medicine.
Specialists urge citizens to be vigilant when receiving medical services and to only apply to licensed institutions and individuals.
