On January 28, the Iranian authorities executed a man accused of spying for Israel's Mossad intelligence service.
It is reported that he was arrested in April 2025 and was also suspected of purchasing equipment that could be used in sabotage operations for Israel. According to interrogation data, the accused used vehicles rigged with explosive substances.
This is considered the latest in a series of executions carried out in Iran in recent months on charges of espionage. Previously, several individuals had also been convicted and sentenced to death for transmitting classified information for the benefit of Israel.
