It is reported that on January 7, a traffic accident occurred in Shofirkon district, and a minor born in 2011 was brought to the hospital with bodily injuries. According to preliminary inspections, the child was hit by a white Damas car while riding a bicycle, and the driver left the scene of the accident.

In order to identify the suspect and the vehicle, white Damas and Labo cars moving in the district were temporarily inspected. According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, all cars were inspected in accordance with legal procedures and were immediately returned to their owners in cases where no violations were found.

As of January 9, the suspect has been identified and has confessed to his guilt. Currently, procedural measures are being taken within the legal framework regarding this case.

Also, reports about drivers being detained for a long time without grounds have not received official confirmation. The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that all actions were carried out with the aim of ensuring public safety and exposing the crime.
