It is reported that a criminal case was initiated regarding the embezzlement of 186 billion soums of budget funds in state procurements against Bekmurod Abdullayev, who worked as a deputy minister, and Rustam Tursunov, the former head of the Department for the Execution of Sentences.
According to the statement of Abdurahmon Tashanov, head of the "Ezgulik" society, within the framework of this case, a total of 7 employees were released on the evening of April 15. The preventive measure applied to them was canceled because they had compensated for the damage caused.
According to Tashanov, this decision caused dissatisfaction among more than 60 other accused in the case. He also emphasized that an explanation from officials regarding this situation is awaited.
