State Security Service and Department for Combating Economic Crimes employees exposed the abuse of official authority by the market director of Dehqonobod district during a rapid operation.
Reportedly, he promised a citizen intending to start entrepreneurial activity to sell and subsequently transfer a trade stall located in the market area, the documents for which were not formalized, and demanded 80 million soums for this "service".
During the rapid operation, the official was caught red-handed while receiving $6,600 USD from the entrepreneur.
