According to the Ministry of Health, 153 tons of quality donor blood were prepared in Uzbekistan during 2025. This indicator was 130.6 tons in 2023 and 148 tons in 2024.
It is noted that currently, the country operates the Republican Blood Transfusion Center, the Tashkent City "Blood Preparations" Scientific-Production Enterprise, 13 regional and 2 republican blood transfusion stations, and 13 blood transfusion departments.
According to the emphasis of the Director of the Republican Blood Transfusion Center, Alonur Saidov, according to WHO recommendations, there should be at least 30 donors per 1000 population. In Uzbekistan, this indicator currently stands at 10 people.
Also, 13 mobile donor complexes have been delivered to the regions. In Uzbekistan, citizens aged 18–60 and weighing over 50 kg can be donors up to 4 times a year.
