An amount of 500 US dollars was allocated by the state to each account number.
Within the framework of the "Presidential Cedar" event held on the occasion of the New Year based on the President's assignment, trust deposit accounts were opened for more than 8,000 orphans and children deprived of parental care aged 0–17. An amount of 500 US dollars was allocated by the state to each account number, and it will grow year by year through capitalization.
Children will have the right to use these funds upon turning 18, gaining an important financial foundation for stepping into independent life.
Furthermore, social cards were issued to children over 9 years old and their legal representatives. Through these cards, it is possible to enjoy preferential use of public transport, make payments, verify identity, and benefit from social assistance and services. All operations can be monitored via the "Baraka" mobile application.
The support covers orphans living in mahallas, residents of orphanages and SOS Children's Villages, as well as children whose parents died defending the Motherland and children undergoing treatment at the "Tashkent" Children's Hospice. For children at the "Tashkent" Hospice, the possibility to use the deposit funds as needed at any time has also been established.
