On December 30, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the new administrative building of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services in New Tashkent as part of the construction work being carried out. The head of state first familiarized himself with the construction process of the underground parking lot and pedestrian walkway. This parking lot, valued at 100 million dollars, is planned to be commissioned for use in 2026.
Also, a new modular building has been constructed for the ministry, where 550 employees are working. This complex will serve to unite the ministry and system organizations in one place and increase work efficiency.
The President was informed about the activities of digital platforms implemented within the framework of the "Transparent Construction" national information system. In particular, the urban planning cadastre geoportal, digital master plans, and tender and rating systems were presented.
The head of state gave instructions on further digitalization of the system and increasing transparency, spoke with young specialists, and emphasized the importance of deeply studying information technologies.
