Two passenger flights of Uzbekistan Airways bound for Urgench were forced to land at Bukhara International Airport due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions.
Specifically, the crews of flights HY9616 on the Moscow (Vnukovo) - Urgench route and HY9638 on the Saint Petersburg - Urgench route chose Bukhara as an alternate landing site to ensure flight safety.
It is noted that fog has intensified at Urgench International Airport, reducing visibility to as low as 100 meters. At the same time, it was reported that passengers are being provided with the necessary services regarding subsequent flights.
