It is reported that employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Syrdarya region identified the workers who committed this act and conducted explanatory work with them. Regarding the incident, documents were officially drawn up against these individuals under Article 184-3 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (preparation, storage or distribution of materials promoting national, racial, ethnic or religious enmity) and sent to court.
By the decision of the Syrdarya District Court, each of the defendants was sentenced to a fine of 100 times the BCA, i.e., 41 million 200 thousand soums.
"On December 23, we took Uzbek currency and burned it. I realized that what I did was wrong. I apologize to the people of Uzbekistan. I regret what I did," said one of the offenders.
It is also reported that the employer has unilaterally terminated the employment contracts with these individuals.
