Two people, including an Uzbek student, Muhammadaziz Umurzokov, were killed in a mass shooting at Brown University in the USA. The suspect in committing this crime was found dead. This was reported by Christina Sterling, a spokesperson for the US Attorney's Office in Boston.

According to her, the suspect's body was found in a warehouse located in Salem, New Hampshire, approximately 30 kilometers north of downtown Boston. On the night of December 18, numerous law enforcement officers were called to this area as part of the investigation into the incident at Brown University.

An anonymous representative from the US Department of Justice indicated that the suspect had died by suicide. At the same time, investigators are checking the possibility of his involvement in the murder of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) professor, which occurred two days after the shooting at Brown University.

We recall that the shooting at Brown University occurred on December 13 in the Barus + Holley building, which houses the School of Engineering and Physics. An unknown person dressed in black attacked the university during exams, shooting and killing two people and wounding eight others. The suspect fled the scene on foot, and the search efforts were primarily based on security cameras in nearby areas.

It is also known that 47-year-old MIT professor and nuclear physicist Nuno Loureiro was shot and killed at his home in Brookline. While officials had previously expressed suspicion of a connection between these two crimes, this possibility is now being investigated further.
