The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan sent a note of protest to Semyon Grigoriev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Tajikistan, in connection with the tragic death of a Tajik citizen. This was reported by Zamon.uz.

According to the official statement of the Tajik MFA, on December 16, 2025, in the village of Gorki-2, part of the Odintsovo city district in Moscow Oblast, an attack was carried out on an underage Tajik citizen, Kobiljon Aliev, a 4th-grade student at the Uspenskaya General Education School, based on ethnic hatred. As a result of this attack, the child died at the scene.

This incident was sharply condemned by Tajikistan. Following the incident, the Russian ambassador was summoned to the Tajik Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where an official note was presented. It demanded that the Russian Federation promptly, impartially, and comprehensively investigate this crime and bring the perpetrators to justice in accordance with current legislation.

It was also reported that the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Russian Federation has taken control of the investigation into this crime and has sent an official appeal to the Russian MFA.

The Tajik MFA expressed deep condolences to the family members and relatives of the deceased and emphasized that ensuring the rights and safety of Tajik citizens abroad is a priority. The ministry expressed hope that the competent authorities of the Russian Federation will fully and fairly investigate this incident.
