Time magazine announced the most influential nominations for 2025. The "Person of the Year" title this year, for the first time in history, went not to one person, but to the eight most influential leaders in the field of artificial intelligence. On the magazine's cover, Mark Zuckerberg, Lisa Su, Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, Sam Altman, Demis Hassabis, Dario Amodei, and Fei-Fei Li are depicted in a style inspired by the famous "The Last Supper" painting.
According to Time's note, the probability of artificial intelligence becoming "Person of the Year" in 2025 was 69%, followed by Nvidia's leader Jensen Huang (14%), OpenAI CEO Sam Altman (10%), and Pope Leo HIV (4%).
The magazine also recognized YouTube CEO Neal Mohan as "Leader of the Year" and actor Leonardo DiCaprio as "Artist of the Year." Time emphasized that Mohan turned the platform into a leading force in the global media landscape, and praised DiCaprio for his "always unconventional choices that lead to the right decision."
