This year, Uzbekistan will import more than 50 modern agricultural drones from China. This was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting with agricultural sector workers.
It is noted that the special drone center established under the Ministry of Agriculture has created opportunities for specialist training, service provision, and full technical support. This year alone, crop monitoring and advanced agro-technical measures have been carried out using more than 100 drones.
It is reported that next year, at least two mobile drone complexes will be established in each region. Furthermore, the permitted payload capacity for agricultural drones will be increased from 100 kilograms to 250 kilograms.
"I am pleased that digital technologies and artificial intelligence are entering agriculture, and the number of farmers obtaining high yields with low costs is increasing," said the head of state.
