As of 08:00, the air pollution index (AQI) in many areas of the capital is 70–99, which corresponds to the "moderate" level.

According to IQAir data, the concentration of PM2.5 particles is 3–8 times higher than the recommended European and WHO standards. At the same time, in previous days, air pollution was at a "very dangerous" level.

According to climatologist Erkin Abdulakhatov, warm air masses entering the country have blocked the "inversion" phenomenon, and this has led to a sharp decrease in the concentration of PM2.5 particles in the capital.

Earlier, "Uzhydromet" reported that the air pollution occurred precisely due to this inversion.
