According to the presidential decree, the system will operate based on archival documents and DNA data.

The "Family Tree" information system, designed to provide citizens of Uzbekistan with online information about their family trees, will be launched.

This was outlined in the presidential decree "On measures to digitize the field of archival work and increase management efficiency" signed on November 24.

Accordingly, an electronic family tree for citizens will be compiled based on the initial data in the "Single Electronic Archive of the Uzarchive" and documents stored in state and departmental archives.

It is also envisaged that the Republic Center for Forensic Expertise named after Khadicha Suleymanova will provide information about the ethnic origin of citizens through DNA data.
