A service check was appointed by the Ministry of Ecology a month ago regarding the false information provided about the land plot in the "Adolat" mahalla, 4th quarter, Yunusabad district. According to the documents available to "Daryo", as a result of the check, the head of the district ecology department, Kh. Abdurasulov, was held disciplinarily liable.
It is known that this plot, adjacent to the US Embassy, was turned into a garden through a community work (hashar) initiative by citizens in 2015-2016. The neglected land was cleared of industrial waste, soil was poured from about 350 trucks, and approximately 1,500 ornamental and fruit saplings were planted.
On January 24, 2025, in an act carried out by the District Ecology Department, nearly 850 trees in the garden were registered on the "Yashil Bog" (Green Garden) platform.
Despite this, a month later — on March 6 — the department head, Kh. Abdurasulov, submitted a positive conclusion to the Tashkent City Ecology Management stating that this land was "empty" and that the trees did not exist. Based on this conclusion, the plot was put up for auction sales.
According to the results of the service check, a reprimand was declared against Kh. Abdurasulov and a fine amounting to 30 percent of his average monthly salary was imposed.
