According to a report by "Phone Arena," a pre-installed application named AppCloud on a number of budget models from Samsung's Galaxy A and M series is raising concerns among users. It is said that the application was developed in Israel and there is a high probability that it has surveillance capabilities.
Investigations have shown that AppCloud is deeply integrated into the operating system and cannot be completely removed. Even if the application is temporarily disabled, it remains on the device and can be reactivated after a system update. It has also been noted that it can install additional applications on the user's device without their knowledge.
Experts have assessed this situation as a "serious threat to user privacy." AppCloud's covert operation makes it significantly more dangerous than ordinary system applications.
Samsung has not yet issued an official statement on this matter. The incident leaves open questions about whether some Galaxy users may have been subjected to covert surveillance through their devices.
