The lavish dinner at the White House was held as part of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's visit to the US. The event was attended by Trump and his wife Melania, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegset.
Distinguished guests also included Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, and entrepreneur Elon Musk.
During the dinner, Trump jokingly mentioned that his son Barron is a big fan of Ronaldo and that introducing him to the footballer "could increase his son's respect for his father."
Ronaldo had previously joked in an interview with Piers Morgan, saying, "I'm more famous than Trump."
