Ukraine and Russia are accusing each other of repeatedly violating the short-term ceasefire agreement implemented in connection with the Orthodox Easter holiday.
According to Ukrainian military reports, Russian forces committed 2,299 violations since the ceasefire began on Saturday at 16:00.
The Russian Ministry of Defense, however, reported that Ukrainian forces committed 1,971 violations, including three counter-attack attempts in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had previously stated that the country's forces would give a "symmetrical" response to Russian attacks during the truce period, calling the Easter holiday a "period of peace."
He expressed hope for extending the truce after the holiday, but Russia rejected this proposal, announcing that attacks would resume on Monday.
According to Ukrainian military information, Russian troops carried out 28 attacks and launched nearly 2,000 drone strikes, but did not use bombs or missiles.
In the Sumy region, a Russian drone hit an ambulance, injuring three medical workers.
The Russian side reported that Ukraine organized three attacks overnight in the Pokrovsk direction and in the Otradivka area of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
