According to the updated infographic, Argentina is the country that consumes the most beef, with an average of 46 kg of beef consumed per person. The followers are Zimbabwe (44.4 kg), the USA (38 kg), Israel (36.1 kg), and Brazil (34.6 kg). Argentina's high indicator is linked to the country's barbecue culture—asado.

In terms of pork consumption, Croatia (57.4 kg) is the leader. It is followed by Spain (56.5 kg), Montenegro (53.5 kg), Hong Kong (52.6 kg), and Poland (51.6 kg). In these countries, pork is a main part of many traditional dishes.

The countries with the highest chicken meat consumption are Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (94.1 kg), Tonga (90.6 kg), the Marshall Islands (74.8 kg), Samoa (74.8 kg), and Israel (70.8 kg). In the four island states, poultry farming has developed as a primary source of protein under conditions of limited resources.

For sheep and goat meat, Mongolia is the absolute leader—68.5 kg per capita. Bahrain (23.4 kg), New Caledonia (21.9 kg), Turkmenistan (20.3 kg), and Chad (19 kg) are in the following positions. The high consumption in Mongolia is explained by its nomadic pastoral traditions.
