On November 13, the New Glenn heavy-lift rocket was launched from the Cape Canaveral spaceport in Florida.

It carried two EscaPade probes, developed by Rocket Lab, into Earth's orbit under a NASA contract. The probes will study the space environment around Mars, its climate history, and the reasons for the disappearance of its atmosphere.

This is an important step for Blue Origin: during the company's first commercial flight, the rocket's first stage successfully landed on a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean. The New Glenn has been under development since 2016 and has the capability to deliver up to 45 tons of payload to orbit.
