According to a TASS report, Russian blogger Huseyn Gasanov has been put on the wanted list again due to the initiation of a new criminal case. As the publication's source reported, "a new case was the reason for Gasanov being put on the wanted list again," but the details have not been disclosed yet.
In the Russian Interior Ministry's wanted database, Gasanov is indeed listed as a "person on the wanted list re-announced."
We recall that Moscow's Chertanovsky Court ruled on May 14, 2024, to arrest Gasanov in absentia in a case of legalization of criminally obtained income.
He has been charged under Part 4 of Article 174 of the Russian Criminal Code (legalization of criminally obtained income), which provides for a penalty of up to 7 years of imprisonment.
