US President Donald Trump announced that Washington representatives are heading to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, to hold the next round of negotiations with Iran.
The President made a statement on his Truth Social network page. Zamon.uz reported on this.
According to Trump's emphasis, US negotiators are scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on Monday and begin talks with Iran regarding the resolution of the existing sharp tensions and the crisis.
"My representatives are heading to Islamabad. They will arrive there tomorrow evening for negotiations," wrote the US President.
So far, Trump has not provided detailed information on who will be part of the delegation's composition, nor on which issues will be discussed in the negotiations.
This meeting is being assessed as the next diplomatic step in relations between the US and Iran.
