During an urgent event held in the city of Jizzakh, two citizens born in 1993 were caught while selling 400 "Misoprostol" tablets, 139 capsules, and other medicines for 5 thousand dollars.
During the investigation, a secret workshop was discovered inside a women's fitness club, where drugs were being manually packaged and prepared for sale. From there, more than 1,000 empty capsules, over 1,000 counterfeit holograms, barcodes, and other items were seized.
In Samarkand, the manager of an LLC, born in 1998, was apprehended while selling 9,800 psychotropic drugs, illegally brought from Kyrgyzstan, for 25 million soums.
Pre-investigation procedures are being carried out for both cases.
Officials remind citizens that selling or buying uncertified drugs is dangerous to health and can lead to criminal liability.
