Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, met with European Commissioner for International Cooperation Jutta Urpilainen in Brussels.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of further expanding relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
"Mutual relations are currently rapidly developing in the political, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Particular attention was paid to advancing specific projects and initiatives during the conversation," the report states.
It was also noted that it is important to fully utilize the new opportunities opening up on the path of cooperation on a Central Asian scale.
"We confirmed our commitment to further expanding partnership with the EU," the report states.
