Reportedly, Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu exceeded the set speed limit while operating a vehicle. After the incident caused discussions on social networks, the minister voluntarily appealed to the post and stated that he paid the fine.

Uraloğlu published a video of his journey along the Ankara-Niğde highway on social network X, which shows the car's speed reaching 225 km/h. According to the law, the set speed limit on the highway is 140 km/h.

The video quickly spread across mass media and social networks, and such actions by an official responsible for road traffic safety caused much criticism.

According to Uraloğlu, he personally contacted the police and admitted the violation. As a result, he was fined 9267 lira (230 dollars).
