On August 18 of this year, a Presidential decree established the practice of receiving reports every three days on the status of "conflict-prone and quarrelsome" families in neighborhoods with a high crime risk.

According to the new procedure, employees of internal affairs bodies and citizens who are part of the "mahalla seven" will constantly monitor the status of households where family disputes may occur.

In the neighborhoods, public groups called "mahalla propagandists" will be organized.

In accordance with the decree, neighborhoods with a high crime risk will be fully connected to a video surveillance system, "panic buttons" will be installed, and the "model safe home" and "street" projects will be implemented.
