On the night between August 15 and August 16, 2025, around 02:30, a family dispute occurred between a married couple living in the "Mehrobod" neighborhood of Termiz city.
According to an official report from the Surkhandarya Regional DIA, the man struck his wife's face, cheek, and ear area, causing a bodily injury.
Regarding the incident, pre-investigation procedures are currently being carried out by the Crime Prevention Service of the Termiz City DIA.
The woman may have previously been under constant pressure and violence. For this reason, these aspects are being investigated separately.
"A relevant legal assessment of the situation will be ensured," the regional DIA report adds.
