D.T., who had previously been convicted for illegally engaging in the sale of tobacco products, was apprehended during an urgent operation conducted by the Jizzakh regional department of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office.
He was bringing 6,000 packs of "Esse Change" cigarettes without excise stamps, produced abroad and worth a total of 228 million soums, to Jizzakh city in a "Cobalt" car for the purpose of selling them.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 186-1 of the Criminal Code in connection with the incident, and investigative actions are being carried out.
