On July 6th of the current year, at 20:16, an earthquake was observed in the Qorako‘l district of the Bukhara region. This was reported by the Seismoprognosis monitoring republican center under the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 533 km to the southwest of Tashkent, with a magnitude of 3.7, while the intensity at the epicenter was 4 on the scale.
The earthquake was also felt in the following areas:
Gazli city – 2 on the scale (36 km away)
Qorako‘l district – 2 on the scale (49 km)
Peshku district – 2 on the scale (52 km)
As of now, there are no reports about any damages or injuries.
