The head of the Traffic Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Fergana region, Lieutenant Colonel Akmal Ahmedov, has been relieved of his position. This was reported by the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of Fergana region.
"At a time when efforts are being made to cleanse the system of corruptions such as bribery and graft, it was exposed that the head of the department attempted to unlawfully conceal violations committed with a Malibu-2 car owned by a close relative," the report states.
According to the information provided, Lieutenant Colonel Akmal Ahmedov was relieved of his position by the relevant order of the Minister of Internal Affairs. Currently, additional investigative actions are being carried out to fully legally assess this violation.
Moreover, all the fines for the violations committed with the Malibu vehicle with the state license plate 40 081 SBA have been fully paid.
