The Armed Forces of Russia launched a widespread attack on Ukrainian territory on the night of July 4th. The city of Kyiv became the primary target.

According to Ukrainian officials, the missile and drone strikes on the capital resulted in 23 people being injured, with 14 of them hospitalized.

Among the injured is a 10-year-old girl, reported Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs, Igor Klimenko.

What was damaged?

— The top of a 14-story building in the Sviatoshynskyi district was hit, causing a fire.

— A 5-story building in the Solomenskyi district was partially destroyed.

— The roof of a 7-story building caught fire over an area of 2000 sq.m.

— Drone debris fell on residential areas in the Dnipro and Shevchenkivskyi districts.

Details of the attack:

According to the Ukrainian Air Forces, this time Russia used 539 drones (attack and decoy) and 11 missiles. Of these, 476 drones and 2 "Iskander-K" missiles were shot down.

The attack resulted in direct hits at 8 locations, while drone debris fell in 33 places.

Investigations regarding the incident are ongoing. Infrastructure and social facilities across the city were damaged.
