A person attempting to sell 5 hectares of land from the reserve of the administration in the Yukori Chirchiq district of Tashkent region for 200 thousand dollars was detained. The Prosecutor General's Office press service reported this.
It was reported that during the conducted rapid operation, citizen B.S. had intended to sell a 5-hectare plot of land located in the Miyam-Kangli neighborhood of Yukori Chirchiq district from the administration's reserve for 200 thousand dollars. He promised to procure the relevant decision from the district governor through his high-ranking acquaintances, to formalize the cadastral documents in his name, and was detained with material evidence when he received 50 thousand dollars of the agreed amount.
A criminal case has been initiated on this matter under Article 168 (fraud) part 4 clause “a” and Articles 28,211 (bribery) part 3 clause “a” of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being undertaken.
