A citizen living in the Chilanzor district of the capital was discovered to have stored over 1.2 kg of synthetic narcotics worth 1.5 billion UZS in his house. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent city police department.
It was mentioned that this amount could potentially poison 6,000 people.
As noted, during a raid conducted by the officers of the criminal investigation department of the Chilanzor district internal affairs division within the scope of the «Qoradori-2025» rapid-preventive operation, citizen S. was searched, and substances resembling 5 grams of narcotic drugs were found on him.
Subsequently, during a search of the citizen's residence, a large quantity of narcotic substances was discovered, and the following were documented as physical evidence:
• three black bags containing various zip bags with a white powder substance;
• a powdery substance wrapped in blue insulation;
• electronic scales and packaging materials.
An investigation regarding the incident is underway.
