It has been discovered that a resident of the capital Tashkent has been keeping one Nile crocodile at home. The Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change reported this.

As noted, a citizen living in the city of Tashkent has kept one Nile crocodile at their residence.

Subsequently, after the situation was investigated, an administrative protocol was issued against the violator according to part 1 of Article 92-1 of the Administrative Offenses Code.

“The collected documents regarding the case have been sent to judicial authorities for legal assessment and to take appropriate measures,” the report states.

It is emphasized that the crocodile has been handed over to the Tashkent zoo.
