Yesterday, on June 17th, the chairman of the Urgut district court for civil cases in Samarkand region died as a result of a road traffic accident. This was reported by the Press Service of the Supreme Council of Judges.
It is noted that at around 20:30, on the 61st kilometer of the 4Р-47 road passing through the "Bogishamol" neighborhood in Urgut district, a road traffic accident occurred due to a collision between a Kamaz-53212 type truck and a Nexia 3 type passenger car.
Timur Rustamov (born in 1986), the chairman of the Urgut district court for civil cases, who was in the Nexia-3 car, died at the scene due to injuries sustained.
It is reported that currently, a criminal case has been initiated under part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code (Violation of traffic safety or operation of transportation vehicles) and preliminary investigation actions are being conducted by the Urgut district prosecutor's office.
