Former deputy Kabul Dusov was sentenced to 5 years and 2 months in prison.

The sentence of serving the punishment in general regime colonies has been determined.

On June 16, the criminal case concerning Kabul Dusov (born in 1984 in the Samarkand region, previously convicted) was reviewed in an open court session by the Shaykhantahur district court, concluding with the announcement of the verdict. The Ministry of Justice  reported this.

This criminal case was considered at first instance by Judge A. Mirzakhanov of the Shaykhantahur district court.

According to the verdict, Kabul Dusov was found guilty of committing crimes under Article 139, part 3, paragraph "a" (Accusing of committing a serious or particularly serious crime), Article 140, part 3, paragraph "a" (Insulting the victim in connection with their official or civil duty), and Article 237, part 2, paragraph "g" (Providing false information accusing of committing a serious or particularly serious crime) of the Criminal Code against five victims (Pre-School and School Education Ministry, officials and responsible persons of the Navoi Region pre-school and school education department, senior inspector of the Probation Department of Chirchiq city police) .

Based on Articles 59, 61 of the Criminal Code, Kabul Dusov was sentenced to 5 years and 1 month of imprisonment. With the procedure outlined in Article 59, part 8 of the Criminal Code, the sentence assigned by this verdict together with the sentence imposed by the Arnasoy district court's verdict dated February 24, 2025, was merged, resulting in a definitive sentence of 5 years and 2 months of imprisonment.

The sentence is to be served in a general regime colony.

The activities of the "Kabul Dusov" profile created on Facebook social network and the "Kobul Dusov/RASMIY KANAL/" channel created on Telegram messenger were stopped and blocked.

The interested parties of this criminal case were informed about their right to file a lawsuit in civil court regarding the compensation of material and moral damages.

Parties have the right to appeal/protest against the first instance court's decision within the term and order established by law to the Tashkent city court's criminal panel in the appellate/cassation procedure .

Previously, by the verdict of the Chilanzar district court dated November 22, 2024, Dusov was found guilty of committing the crime under Article 140, part 3, paragraph "a" of the Criminal Code, and was sentenced to 1 year of restriction of freedom.
