In Uzbekistan, salaries will be increased in all regional and district administrations. This was announced during a video conference meeting chaired by the president on June 16 it was informed.
It was noted, to create an efficient and attractive environment, starting from August 1, salaries will be increased in all regional and district administrations, employees will receive monthly incentives and additional bonuses depending on their work.
“But responsibility falls on both hands. Measures will be taken against employees who fail to perform their assigned duties. Then everyone will learn to work with discipline and according to the plan. Regional governors, their deputies, ministers, and bank managers listen carefully: by the end of the half-year, I will make a rigorous inquiry regarding what has been accomplished,” said the head of state.
The governor of the Syrdarya district will establish a "Reform Headquarters" consisting of employees from nine departments, the Chamber of Commerce, the bank, tax, cadastre representatives, and leading entrepreneurs.
“The Reform Headquarters” will prepare a three-year program covering projects, infrastructure, financial sources, and staffing issues across the district's 38 neighborhoods within three months. The budget for the coming year, infrastructure, industrial, service, investment, and employment programs will be approved on this basis.
Based on the outcomes, this new experiment will be implemented throughout the republic from next year.
