Earlier, a video circulated on social media showing two individuals snatching a bag from a pedestrian and fleeing the scene, which sparked various discussions. The Tashkent City Police Department has officially responded to the incident.
It was reported that the incident occurred around 18:15 on June 12th of this year, at a parking lot of a farmers market in the Shaykhontohur district, where B.S., born in 1997, and Kh.A., born in 2000, mugged K.H., born in 2003, who was walking by, taking a black bag and the money inside it in a blatant robbery before fleeing the scene.
In connection with this case, the Investigation Department of the Shaykhontohur District Police Department initiated a criminal case under part 3, paragraph "b" of Article 166 of the Criminal Code ("robbery"). The investigation is ongoing.
