Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the need for pre-planned infrastructure — military bases, arsenals, and aerodromes for new weapon systems, in a meeting on the state armament program planned until 2036.
“I frequently sign documents concerning the reallocation of expenses for facilities intended for new systems to other items. However, this ultimately leads to the new weapons being deployed in open fields,” — says Putin.
The President also specifically mentioned the nuclear triad, calling it the “guarantee of Russia's sovereignty.” During the meeting, it was assigned to designate financial resources for these facilities as a separate line in the state program.
