During the rapid operation, a citizen from the Sherobod district of the Surkhandarya region was caught with material evidence while bringing 49 kg 599 gr of "opium" substance hidden in a secret compartment of the cargo space of a DAF model truck he was operating, to the Turtkul district of Karakalpakstan and was detained.
Before the investigation, it was revealed during the examination that this narcotic substance, smuggled from Tajikistan, was planned to be sold in the territory of the Khorezm region in the future.
