Videos claiming that traffic police officers used force against a driver have been circulated on social networks. The regional Traffic Safety Authority officially commented on the situation.
According to this, on June 5th, in the territory of Surkhon village, Jarkorgan district, traffic police officers, who were on duty, signaled a Lacetti that had violated the overtaking rule and made a dangerous maneuver to stop. The driver, however, continued to drive and attempted to flee.
The vehicle was "wanted", and it was discovered that it had failed to comply with the lawful demands of the traffic police officers on several occasions previously. This incident occurred while the traffic police officers were attempting to stop the vehicle to address the violation, and currently, an investigation regarding the situation is being conducted by responsible officers of the regional Internal Affairs Department.
