In recent days, reports have spread in some mass media about the company "Humans Mobile PTE LTD" registered in Singapore filing a case against Uzbekistan in an international arbitration court.
According to the information from the Central Bank , indeed, the said company has filed a claim with the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) under the World Bank on May 20, 2025, alleging that Uzbekistan's state bodies, including the Central Bank, breached an international agreement signed in 2003 regarding the protection of investments.
The international centre has accepted the case for proceedings and is currently preparing to review the matter substantively. It is stated that additional information will be provided following the discussion process.
